Do you shoot destination weddings or elopements?
A. YES PLEASE. I love the intimacy and authenticity of a destination wedding. I am available to travel worldwide. Contact me and let's talk about your plans and dreams!

Will there be a second shooter?
A. I include a second shooter in most weddings (other than elopements or small, intimate weddings) for up to 4 hours. Adding more time is an optional add-on expense.

What kind of humanitarian work do you do?
A. I gravitate to stories of resilient, courageous, brave, bold women and girls. I have photographed Holocaust survivors, marginalized but powerful women in India, survivors of sexual violence of war in the Congo. I have photographed mothers, grandmothers and sisters. I seek to craft and share stories that empower women, amplify their already strong and impactful voices, and give due credit to their strength, compassion and grit.
I am most passionate about issues of gender equality, girls' education, violence against women and modern slavery but am open to working with anyone who is working to make this world a more just, equal and compassionate place.
What is a "documentary family session"?
A. Documentary sessions are generally shot in-home or on location in a place that is meaningful to your family (i.e. your favorite park or lake or hiking trail, pick-your-own fruit farm, museum, restaurant, movie theater). I shoot with story in mind, so there is very little posing and formal portraits (although I always snag a few "traditional" shots). Pizza and a movie on Fridays? Yes! Pancakes in PJ's Saturday morning? Yes! Heading out to the soccer fields? Yes! Documentary sessions memorialize the current chapter of your life story. We all know how fleeting time is... this is a way to remember the real, raw and authentic stuff of your life and family.
Do I have to order prints through you?
A. No, you don't! When you get your digital files, they are yours to use for prints anywhere you like. I do offer an affordable option for prints, enlargements and canvas prints and can guarantee quality and service, but you do not have to utilize this service.
