Rabbits of Ravensbrück Documentary - Europe

The "Rabbits of Ravensbrück," made famous by the best-selling book Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly, are a group of Polish women who were targeted and used for Nazi medical experiments in the all-women Ravensbrück concentration camp in Germany during WWII. I traveled with a documentary film team led by the brilliant director, Stacey Fitzgerald, to Paris, Poland, and Germany to interview and film the last remaining "Rabbits" as well as other survivors of the camp. From a teenager in the French Resistance to Polish girl scouts (called girl guides) to a Polish doctor, to the actual Rabbits themselves, I will never ever forget their stories. And soon the world will know them, too. Follow the documentary's progress HERE.
